Cornish CuisineJust had a disappointing experience with Cornish Cuisine - http://www.cornishcuisine.co.uk Goods (food) were ordered over a month ago: 1st attempt - never sent 2nd attempt - sent by next day carrier & arrived 4/5 days later after being delivered to the neighbours porch and spending a few hours in the sun 3rd attempt - rang and explained the situation to Cornish Cuisine just before the Bank Holiday. Said they would be having a new delivery in on Tuesday after the Bank Holiday and would depatch on Tuesday - by Friday nothing had arrived 4th attempt - rang Cornish Cuisine twice on the following Friday - once to leave an answerphone message and the second time spoke to a man and tried to explain the situation. He said that it was not his department and would pass the matter on; getting the correct person to telephone back - no telephone call was ever recieved 5th attempt - telephoned Cornish Cuisine the following day and once again spoke the the same man - again informed that it was not his problem and would pass a message along. At this juncture pointed out that they were either in business or not and he actually needed to take responsibility rather than simply 'ducking' the issue. Furthermore that actually the customer did not appreciate the being pushed from 'pillar to post' over a product that had been paid for 4/5 weeks previously where they had not fulfilled their part of the transaction At which point the man at Cornish Cuisine said he would refund the money and put the phone down Truly excellent customer service and a warning tale for anyone proposing to do business with Cornish Cusine |

there are a few key facts that have been missed by jc, he was neither the named recipient or customer for these goods, on the original order no date for delivery was requested, I spoke to him on monday not friday, the goods were charged on the day of dispatch not 5 weeks previous and as I pointed out, its no good shouting at someone who cannot help. The person who actually ordered the goods was happy to receive a full refund and an apology for the delay and confusion. |

The carriers did make a mistake and the person who actually paid for the goods has received a full refund an apology and is happy with the srvice offerd by Cornish Cuisine |
