Early Start To New Asparagus SeasonTregassow Farm tells us that they're starting to pick this year's crop of asparagus a good couple of weeks early. We've also been told it's for sale at Chyreen Farm shop as from this weekend (April 15). Summer eating starts here! |

The best place to eat it is at home. As soon as you've bought it rush home, steam, and eat. If you must, add butter or hollandaise sauce. Drink with a crisp Cornish white wine: an Italian will do if you can't get Cornish. |
