MiningHi there, I'm visiting Cornwall later in the year and as a miner in South Africa was wondering whether any of Cornwall's tin mines are open to the public? Cheers Dom |

Hi Dom. There are - for better or worse - no tin mines now working in Cornwall. However, the old Geevor Mine between St Ives and St Just is open as a museum (www.geevor.com). Probably the best information about visiting old mines and related sites of interest is on www.cornishmining.com |
