PLEASE HELP!Hello, Can anyone please recommend some really good food pubs or restaurants? They don't have to be posh & would prefer a good choice or fresh seafood/shell fish. Our best fine so far is the Mill (restaurant, not bar) at Trebarwith Strand & the Crows Nest at Crows Nest. We have eaten at Fifteen, Kota & the View within the last month & have not been over impressed with any of them. Just good, fresh food is all we want & we are struggling big time! Many thanks Amy |

Exploring new places to eat is, of course, all part of the fun though with prices as they are disappointment can twofold. We all have different tastes and expectations but places I would certainly go to include Porthminster Beach Cafe (St Ives): Gurnards Head (Zennor); Gylly Beach Cafe (Falmouth - busy in season); Indabar (Falmouth); Rosevine Hotel and (for lunchtime vegetarian) Archie Browns in Truro. Sorry you didn't strike good at Kota - we've always been impressed: but I agree Fifteen can be short of expectations at times. Do report back with any good finds. Ashley |
