The Great British Bake Off (BBC)

Dear All, I am looking to find participants for a farmers market that we are holding to accompany a new BBC television series, ?The Great British Bake Off?, this weekend (Sat 12th, Sun 13th) on the sea front in Mousehole. The landmark series is a national 'bake off' where 10 passionate amateur bakers compete to be crowned Britain?s Best Baker. So far the events have been hugely popular and we are hoping that this bank holiday will draw the crowds and make a successful show and market. Our ?bake off?, which is at the heart of the series, is being filmed at six different locations across the country with each episode specific to its location; Puddings in Bakewell, Tea time treats in Scone, etc. In this case, we are visiting Mousehole to put our competitors through their paces making pasties and pies. Not only are contenders vying to be crowned champion, but we will also be telling the history of British Baking as we go along. To add authenticity to the show, we?ve been inviting local farmers and market traders to exhibit and sell their wares on location with us as we film our show. The market will be held on Saturday 12th and Sunday 13th from 10am until 6pm. There is no charge to hold a stall at the show and we will be happy to facilitate power and any further requirements you may need if you let us know prior to Saturday.
