The Funky Food Zone for kids (of all ages) will form part of the Cornwall Food and Drink Festival in Truro on September 23, 24 and 25. Run by the Cornwall Food and Farming Group, it will be located in Tinner's Court just off the Piazza and this year's theme is "Harvest" along with "The Story of Cheese". Very much a hands-on exhibit, there will be cheese tasting, harvest loaf making with salt-dough, apple pressing for apple juice, straw bales and a farmer's picnic. There will also be a small Kubota tractor for children to play on.

The CFFG will also be sponsoring the Young Chefs' Challenge again with Polwhele and St Day schools contesting for the title as they came out on top in the preliminary collage competition.
