Cornish Food Hampers operate within the Cornish Food Ltd website as a separate entity. Any orders placed on this website or directly with us are governed by our terms and conditions of sale.

Cornish Food Hampers excercises its rights to Copyright on all information, designs and images on www.foodfromcornwall.co.uk related to Cornish Food Hampers. Information, designs and images may not be copied in electronic or other formats nor used other than for the intended purpose.

Definitions

Customers and visitors should take particular care in interpreting certain phrases on this site. In particular:

Gluten free - the producer has indicated that the product does not contain gluten.
Nut free - the producer has indicated that the product does not contain nuts.
Organic - the producer has indicated that they meet the requirements for registration with the Soil Association or certification body of like standing.
Salt free - the producer has indicated that no salt is added to the product during preparation.
Vegetarian - the producer has indicated that the product is produced without meat products of any kind.
Wheat free - the producer has indicated that the product does not contain wheat.

Customers and visitors should confirm the suitability of any product purchased or sourced via this website prior to ordering or consuming the product.

All customers seeking to purchase alcohol must ensure that they comply with the laws relating to the purchase and consumption of alcohol relevent in the country in which they are ordering the produce and the country of destination. In particular we will not sell alcohol to anyone under the age of 18 years or to anyone who we believe intends to supply alcohol to someone under 18 years, and will require proof of age where we consider this appropriate.

Delivery

Cornish Food Hampers will make all reasonable effort to dispatch your order as quickly as possible. Orders placed on-line with credit/debit card payment are normally dispatched within 48 hours when placed Monday to Thursday. Orders placed Friday or the weekend are normally dispatched on the following Monday.

Cornish Food Hampers use couriers to deliver goods. These couriers have appropriate experience and capability and will make reasonable endeavours to deliver the goods to your nominated address. You must ensure that someone will be available at the delivery address to accept the goods during normal working hours on the day of delivery. Failure to do so may result in the goods being returned and a subsequent charge being levied for a second attempted delivery.

Goods are normally delivered within 24 hours of dispatch. Goods can be delivered at specific times or on Saturdays but at extra cost. Customers wishing further information on such services should telephone for further information before placing an order. 

Information

Whilst we make every effort to ensure that the information available on www.foodfromcornwall.co.uk is correct, Cornish Food Ltd and Cornish Food Hampers cannot accept any responsibility for any inaccuracies, errors or omissions howsoever caused. Users should ensure that products sourced or purchased via this site meet their requirements, including any special requirements such as, but not limited to, vegetarian, nut free, gluten free etc.

Orders

For orders to destinations outside mainland UK different shipping rates and conditions will apply so please telephone or email to discuss your requirements. Our standard shipping rates apply only to mainland UK deliveries.

Many countries have import restrictions on some or all classes of food and drink. If you wish an order to be dispatched to a destination outside mainland UK (by which we also include Northern Ireland and the Channel Islands as such a destination) please telephone or email to discuss the suitability of your selection of products.

Payment

Orders can be placed on-line using major credit or debit cards. Cornish Food Ltd uses approved third parties to handle on-line credit/debit transactions via secure servers. Cornish Food Ltd does not receive, hold or retain credit/debit card details and does not charge or debit your account direct. Payment by cheque or money order can be arranged but payment must be received and cleared prior to dispatch of goods. Please allow at least 7 working days from receipt by us of your cheque for your order to be dispatched.

Privacy

Cornish Food Hampers uses information you provide solely for our own purposes. We do not share your information with any other company or organisation under any circumstances. Please note that if you purchase products on-line certain of your details will be retained by the organisation that processes your credit/debit card details. This information is held on a secure server solely for the purchase and is not held or used for any other purpose, nor shared with any other company or organisation. 

Returns

In the unlikely event that you are dissatisfied with goods received from Cornish Food Hampers please contact us by telephone outlining your concerns. We will issue you with a returns approval number which you must quote on any documentation accompanying your return. On receipt of the goods your credit/debit card account will be credited with the appropriate funds or a cheque may be sent for that sum. Under no circumstances will we accept returned goods without first issuing a returns approval number. This does not affect your statutory rights.
