Collier’s Cornish Cheese is a small company based in Penryn in Cornwall founded and run by Sue Collier who has been a cheese maker in Cornwall for several years.
Sue was the head cheesemaker for Menallack Farm and won various awards for her cheeses until John Minson retired and closed Menallack Farm.
Cows milk cheese’s are made from milk supplied by Rodda’s and are suitable for vegetarians
Gwig Keus (Village Cheese)
A hard cows milk cheese made from a farmhouse recipe has a good rounded slightly creamy flavour with a natural rind available in Chive and Garlic, Chilli and plain and also as small truckles.
Adhvesi Gwig Keus (Mature)
A mature version of Gwig Keus with a flavour that gets deeper and richer as it ages. A soft cows milk cheese with a light fresh flavour ideal for winter or summer salads an alternative to Feta.
A firm ewes milk caerphilly style cheese with a drier texture and a lovely rounded flavour.
A mature version of Trevellan with a flavour that just gets sharper and more complex as it ages.
A semi hard ewes milk cheese with a dense texture and caramel after taste that deepens with age.
A soft ewes milk cheese with a very fresh flavour, a coulommier style cheese available plain or with herbs.
