Fermentation has been a way of preserving food for thousands of years, and Caitlin Walsh has founded Delea to reintroduce these healthy and tasty foods to our diets. Fermented foods are widely reputed to boost the immune system, improve digestion and reduce inflammation. Delea products are all made in Cornwall based on traditional recipes from around the world using organic and locally sourced ingredients wherever possible.
Sauerkraut. The tangy German classic, to sit alongside cold meats or can be added to soups and stews.
Curtido. A warming and flavoursome addition to salads from El Salvador, made using oregano, cumin and chilli.
Spiced Carrot. With strong mustard and chilli flavours, a great addition to curries or an omelette.
