Their experienced team of bakers work throughout the night to ensure the freshness of every loaf of bread they produce. They have shops at St Austell, Mevagissey and Truro.

An award winning Saffron Cake is Martins Bakery’s best selling product. The exquisite flavour and golden colour of Cornish saffron cake comes from the heart of the purple crocus flower (crocus sativus). These tiny stamens were discovered by the Phoenicians to contain unparalleled qualities, and when they visited Cornwall hundreds of years ago, they offered their precious treasure for trade.
Martins Bakery pack their pasties with the very best ingredients, all as locally sourced as possible.
As well the traditional Cornish steak pasties there are chicken, mushroom & bacon and cheese & onion varieties: all are hand made in the St Austell bakery.
Eccles cakes are a particular favourite, made to a family recipe from the 1940s. Other products include fancy cakes, buns and eclairs.
