Registered with the Soil Association, Nancarrow Organic Farm produces beef, lamb and mutton from its 100 acres. The family farm has been running since 1805. It was first certified as organic in 1999. Nancarrow meat is sold regularly at Truro and Falmouth Farmers’ Markets and is also available through the Cornish Food Box Company in Truro.
Nancarrow also acts as a wedding venue with its magnificently converted barns and there are also periodic Feast Nights.

Cornish organic lamb and mutton from British cross-bred sheep. Nancarrow mutton is particularly gaining favour with consumers. The mutton ewes are kept on the farm for at least two years, grazing free-range on grass and clover to give the meat a unique flavour. As well as traditional recipes like mutton in caper sauce or roast shoulder of mutton, the meat also lends itself to more unusual dishes such as Moroccan tagines or spicy curries.
