Raise a Glass to Cornish Breweries

Two Cornish brewers received spectacular success at the 2021 International Beer Challenge which attracted entries from 40 countries in over 80 categories. Sharp’s Brewery won 6 awards: Silver for Atlantic Pale Ale, Sea Fury, and West Rock; Bronze for Doom Bar (our current favourite session beer), Offshore Pilsner and Camel Valley Pilsner. At the earlier World Beer awards, Sea Fury was voted World’s Best Pale Bitter.

St Austell Brewery took 7 awards: Gold for Korev, Big Job Double IPA, and Proper Black IPA; Silver for Divine Intervention, Abbey Quadruple, and Lansdown West Coast IPA (some of these marketed under Bath Ales which St Austell bought up in 2016); and Bronze for Cardinal Syn, and Bad Habit.
