Hampsons is a local quality butcher also making pasties, pies, saffron cake and confectionery since 1946. A second shop at 33 Fore Street, Hayle deals mainly in take-away food.

Hampsons sell a wide range of meats, locally sourced, including beef, lamb, pork and poultry and produce their own sausages and burgers.
Home-made steak pies, steak and kidney, chicken and ham, lamb and leek, bacon and egg and game pies.
Classic Cornish pasties but with a very high meat content (21% steak instead of the usual 12.5% for a Cornish pasty).
Hampsons make traditional cakes such as saffron buns, Madeira cake, flapjacks, shortbreads, eccles cakes, scones, heavy cake and ginger cake.
