Lizard Leaf Company

The Lizard Leaf Company have been growers of organic baby salad leaves since 2003.
The baby leaves are grown in accordance with traditional farming principles of sustainable intensities of production and conservation of wildlife and biodiversity. Salad leaves are only produced on half of their land every year allowing the other half to build fertility and improve soil structure through the growing of rye grass and white clover leys. The leaves are grown in a balanced healthy soil enriched with lots of natural fertility, liquid seaweed extracts and mineral rich comfrey juice and grow without the use of chemical insecticides, fungicides and artificial fertilizers. There are no chemical washes on the leaves after harvesting: all leaves are sold unwashed as this is the best way to preserve their natural keeping qualities and freshness so what you see is really what you ge.
See the Lizard Leaf website for information on where to buy.
Leaves are also sold direct to the public via an honesty box at Dowstall Farm, Mylor.
