Polgoon Farm

From their first vine harvest in 2006, John and Kim Coulson created the first Polgoon wine and were subsequently awarded the Trophy for “Best Still Rose in the UK”. This trophy was awarded by the UK Vintners Association, judged by 7 Masters of Wine and sponsored by Waitrose. Since then they’ve developed a sought after range of wine, ciders and fruit drinks.

The farm shop is open 6 days a week and during the summer is open on Sunday too. The shop features a range of local produce as well as Polgoon products. It is open from 09:00 to 17:30 Monday – Saturday and 10:30 to 16:00 on Sundays.

Tours of the vineyard with five tastings are available Wednesday, Thursday and Friday at 14:00 March – September at £10 per person. Booking essential on tours@polgoon.co.uk or 01736 333946.
