Quayside Fish is an award winning Cornish fishmonger situated in Porthleven – a small historic Cornish fishing village. Weather permitting, fish and shellfish are landed directly from small inshore boats owned by local Porthleven fishermen, and they also source sustainably caught fish from day boats landing at ports such as Coverack, Mevagissey, Polperro, Looe and Fowey.
As well as the freshest fish and seafood, the shop has high quality Cornish meats sourced from local farms available to order.
In 2016 the shop received a Silver award from Taste of the West, and was crowned Champion in the fish category of the Taste of the West awards for their Oak Smoked Haddock. In 2017 they received a Gold award in the Taste of the West awards for ‘Quayside Roast’ hot smoked Salmon which also went through to the best in category final.

Megrim are small to medium flat fish, caught mainly off the Cornish coast. A delicate flesh eaten best on the bone, simply grilled.
