Padstow Cheese Company produces an emmantal-style cheese named Cornish Jack. Their “Old Jack” has won Gold at the British Cheese Awards for a modern British cheese. They have also developed 50 Jack which is a beer brined and washed semi hard cheese.

Cornish Jack is a superb cheese that is made with animal rennet. Purchased at the Jamaica Inn shop and having returned home some 40 min ago it has nearly all gone, what more can you say.
