A small distillery, established in 2018 by Andrew and Elizabeth Bradbury, close to the Helford River, Rosemullion Distillery‘s copper-still gins are made in small batches of 100 bottles, the spirit infused with local fruit and honey. Rums are pot-batch distilled.
Already in its short history, the distillery has received many accolades including Style (category) winner for Spiced Rum and gold for Gold Rum at the World Rum Awards. Its Harvest Gin has also been named a finalist in the Gin Guide Awards 2020.
Seafarer’s Gin. Inspired by the salty air and stormy seas that lash up against the coastline of Cornwall. Made using a blend of botanicals found along the coast, and seaweed from the shoreline.
As this is quite a peppery gin, it works really well as a simple G&T – served with a premium Indian tonic and a slice of lemon. Try serving with a little dried sea spaghetti in a high ball for a different taste.
Harvest Gin. An autumnal gin, made with apples and plums from the distillery’s orchard. Hints of raspberries, blackberries, and sloe.
This gin has a strong fruity, warm flavour. It works really well with a good quality tonic and a slice of apple for garnish – but equally can be enjoyed with lemonade if you don’t like tonic.
Summer Gin. A fresh gin with a citrus kick, infused with Cornish elements to provide a refreshing yet warming gin – perfect for summer evenings.
As it’s a lighter gin, it works really well with Fevertree Mediterranean Tonic, with a couple of fresh raspberries or a strawberry to garnish.
Dry Gin. A bold blend of juniper, botanicals and citrus fruits, infused in Cornish distilled spirit to create a classic modern gin.
Based on a traditional recipe, Rosemullion Dry Gin is best enjoyed with a good quality tonic, ice and a slice of your choice of citrus fruit.
Spiced Rum. 100% single pot distilled rum, aged with a perfect balance of spices to complement the Cornish rum.
Works well in a simple rum and coke – or try it with a good ginger ale and a squeeze of fresh lime.
Christmas Spirit. A blend of traditional Christmas herbs and spices, infused with our own fermented alcohol to produce a Yuletide spirit. You will find notes of nutmeg, cloves, candied orange, raisins, ginger and muscovado sugar.
Nice on its own, or lovely served with a ginger ale (spiced orange ginger ale in particular). Also amazing when included in an affogato!
