St Ives Cider is a Cornish family business owned by David and Kate Berwick.

David combines his experience as a winemaker with traditional cider techniques to produce a range of hand-crafted artisan ciders. Kate runs the office side of things and taste tests new ciders as they are developed.

As with all small businesses, everyone does a bit of everything at some point.



A traditional, dry, still Farmhouse style cider. The only difference is St Ives Cider  use a small amount of dessert apple juice in the blend to lower the acidity and make a slightly smoother flavour.

You will find some sediment will drop to the bottom of the bottle if stored. This is completely natural and can be poured off gently or shaken before serving to give a yeastier taste. ABV 6.5%



A dry, heavily filtered cider with a light sparkle to bring out the flavour. Using a wine filter creates a clean and crisp cider making Smeatons a great alternative to wine with your meal. ABV 6.5%




A sweeter lighter cider than Smeatons. Sweetened with apple juice it has a very fruity flavour and a light fizz. It is a crisp refreshing Summer’s day drink. ABV 4.5%




A true pear cider. Unlike a Perry, Porth is made with an apple cider base and sweetened with pear juice. Unfiltered, you get the full flavour of the pear in this easy to drink cider. ABV 4.5%
