Trevibban Mill Vineyard

Trevibban Mill is Cornwall’s first organic viticulture business, producing seven wines under the Black Ewe label including Pinot Noir red, rose, and a sparkling white. The first harvest was in 2011 and already the vinery has won recognition and success at the International Organic Wine Awards.

The 25 acre holding also produces apples and other fruit.

There is a tasting room and shop open Thursday – Monday 11:00 to 17:30 with tours available.

Trevibban Mill Black Ewe – Dry White 2013
Varieties: 100% Reichensteiner
Colour: Light pale yellow with little green reflexes
Taste: Citrus, green lime, delicate kiwi, hints of floral

Trevibban Mill Black Ewe – Dry White 2014
Varieties: 100% Reichensteiner
Colour: Bright yellow
Taste: Gentle citrus notes with hints of floral, green pepper, gooseberry, kiwi, maracuja, warm, with good length

Trevibban Mill Constantine – Dry White 2014
Varieties: 70% Chardonnay, 30% Seyval Blanc
Colour: Light straw yellow
Taste: Nectarine, pineapple, vanilla, good texture, warm, nutty, peach, some citrus, hints of honey and long finish

Trevibban Mill Merope – Dry White 2014
Varieties: 40% Bacchus, 30% Huxelrebe, 20% Reichensteiner, 10% Solaris
Colour: Bright yellow with green reflexes
Taste: Big fruit, some floral and a little spicy, currant, kiwi, nutmeg, little caraway, some floral, hints of melon with a long and smooth crisp finish

Trevibban Mill Harlyn – (Off) Dry White 2014
Varieties: 60% Huxelrebe, 40% Seyval Blanc
Colour: Bright green yellow
Taste: Tangerine, grapefruit, honey melon, peach, combined with elderflower and hints of nutmeg and floral

Trevibban Mill Black Ewe – Dry Rosé 2013
Varieties: 90% Dornfelder, 10% Pinot Noir Precoce
Colour: Salmon with orange reflexes
Taste: Strawberry, fruit drops, watermelon, jammy, ripe white peach

Trevibban Mill Black Ewe – Sparkling Pink Brut 2011 / Traditional Method
Varieties: 90% Dornfelder, 5% Pinot Noir Precoce, 5% Seyval Blanc
Colour: Ruby pink, orange reflexes
Taste: Fruity nose, reminiscent of blackberry, cherry, plum, in the mouth, raspberries, fruit drops, plum, cherry, little honey and hints of floral
